Glen Hodgson, Federal Candidate

Glen Hodgson lives in Parry Sound and is a teacher at Parry Sound High School. A resident of the riding for the past 13 years, Hodgson’s family roots in Parry Sound-Muskoka go back generations and he has family throughout the riding.
Glen has been involved in the Green Party since his days at Trent University in the early ‘90s. He first ran for the Green Party federally in 1997 and has since run in the 2004, 2006 and 2008 federal elections. If students had their way, Glen would be in Ottawa: in the last three federal elections and the last provincial election, Glen was elected as Student Vote MP, a feat that makes him very proud.
Glen is a board member of the West Parry Sound District Museum, a board member for the Georgian Bay Biosphere Reserve, and a regular columnist in the local community paper.
Glen enjoys canoeing and kayaking and is a high school coach and a referee in basketball, volleyball and badminton. He loves to spend time with his partner Kristy, their son Trent and the family pets, a dog named Buddy, and two rescued cats.
Glen Hodgson is the Green Party of Canada's nominated candidate for Parry Sound - Muskoka
.
